Nigel Dunnett, University of Sheffield, and Director of the Green Roof Centre, UK.
Nigel is one of the leading landscape researchers in the world. This presentation will focus on the establishment of the Green Roof Centre in Sheffield and the work of the University in developing approaches and technical research into green roofs.
15.35 Green Roofs in London – Adapting to a Changing Climate.
Peter Bishop, Group Director, Design, Development & Environment, London Development Agency.
Peter is responsible for design, land development and its environmental, housing and public space programmes. Over the past 20 years he has been a Planning Director in four different London local authorities and has worked on major projects including Canary Wharf, and the King’s Cross developments.

Dusty Gedge, Director, Livingroofs.org and Stephan Brenneisen, Zurich University of Applied Science.
Dusty and Stephan have been collaborating for 10 years on promoting green roofs for biodiversity. Their work has moved in to other areas of green roof research but biodiversity is still at the core. This presentation will be a celebration of achievements over the last 10 years.
