The Venue

Situated in the heart of the city, Allen & Overy’s London modern headquarters will provide the venue to host the WGRC. Situated at 1 Bishops Square, this building offers high environmental credentials.

The building was completed in 2005, and achieved a ‘very good’ assessment rating under the Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM).

Of particular significance to the Congress is the series of green tiers, with roof gardens overlooking the plaza below. This green roof building serves two benefits to the Congress. Firstly, a life scale working example of a green roof to educate delegates. Secondly, it provides a superb venue to host the evening reception, complete with an exceptional view over the London skyline.
